Chalet Tojoki is situated in the pretty little alpine village of Courchevel, Le Praz. Along with the other villages of Courchevel 1850, Courchevel Moriond 1650, Courchevel Village 1550 and La Tania; Le Praz is nestled in the Tarentaise valley of the Savoie region. Le Praz has the perfect blend of beauty, location, value, fantastic cuisine, atmospheric bars and above all – a friendly atmosphere which is highly recommended by locals, seasonnaires and tourists each year.

The four resorts of Courchevel and La Tania are situated on the western side of Les Trois Vallees which is the largest connected ski are in the world. There are links into the resorts of Meribel Mottaret and Village, Saint Martin De Belleville, Les Menuires and Val Thorens.

In 1992 the Winter Olympics took place in the area. Le Praz hosted the ski jumping and Nordic combined events. The Olympic ski jumps are to this day a feature of the village and are still often used during both the winter and summer.

In 2023 Courchevel along with Meribel will jointly host the FIS Alpine World Ski Championships for the first time in France since 2009. The finish line for the races from Courchevel is in Le Praz. Because of this the village has seen a lot of investment in the last few years with the construction of a new gondola into Courchevel 1850 which leaves from a brand new building name L’Alpinium and takes just 7 minutes. This facility also provides additional underground car parking for 500 cars, a lift pass office, ski lockers and other sporting facilities.
